TESTING PROGRAM OF BASE UNIT
THERE ARE SOME SPECIAL FUNCTION FOR REPAIREMENT AND TESTING TO CHANGE THE SECRET ID (ID NUMBER) :Each HT-3 base unit contain an unique secret ID. The ID number is printed on a sticker located beside the telephone jack. It contain three different information 1. Frequency band (first digit) 2. Channels to be used (2nd,3rd,4th digits) 3. Secret code (last four digits) Actually, the Secret ID is programmed during production. However, if you want to change the frequency channels to be used you should know how to change the ID. The 2nd,3rd,4th digits will deside the start frequency channels of your HT-3. For examples If the number is 000 that means your HT-3 will use one of the channel from channel 000,001,002,..,007. If the number is 008 that means your HT-3 will use one of the channel from channel 008,009,010,.,,015. The start channel will always be one of the following number 000,008,016,024,032,040,048,........152 To change Secret ID you have to key in the following sequence Press: FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN4-7+2+ SECRET ID + 0 TO CHANGE THE FLASH TIME To change flash time you can key in the following sequence Press: FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+6+3+0+MEM flash time: 100 mS Press: FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+6+3+1+MEM flash time: 300 mS Press: FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+6+3+2+MEM flash time: 600 mS Press: FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+6+3+3+MEM flash time: 900 mS THE TO CHANGE TONE/PULSE DIALING AND MARK/BREAK RATIO
Key in the following sequence TONE / PLUSE
FCN+9+1 +6+1 +FCN+6+2+0+MEM PULSE MODE, 40/60, 20PPS
FCN+9+1 +6+1 +FCN+6+2+2+MEM PULSE MODE, 33/66, 20PPS
FCN+9+1 +6+1 +FCN+6+2+4+MEM PULSE MODE, 40/60, 10PPS
FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+6+2+6+MEM PULSE MODE, 33/66, 10PPS
FCN+9+1 +6+1+FCN+6+2+7+MEM TONE MODE

To enable/disable USAGE OF INDIVIDUAL HANDSET-Press:FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+6+1+ 1/0 + (HANDSET number-1)+MEM Example: to disable handset number 3 - Press: FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+6+1+0 + 2 +MEM Example: to enable handset number4,Press:FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+6+1+7+3+MEM

TESTING PROGRAM OF HANDSET UNIT EEPROM INTIALIZATION PROGRAM: To initialize handset to frequency band 0 ( RX: 397 MHz) Press: FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+#+*+0+0 To initialize handset to frequency band 1 ( RX: 393 MHz ) Press: FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+#+*+0+1 Note: Currently, the HT-3 use frequency band 1 only. The Secret ID will be destroyed after EEPROM initial izaton. You have to program with the base unit to setup the Secret ID before use.

TO TEST RINGER , BACKLIGHT, AND LCD Press: FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+#+*+0+3 Press " * " or " #" key to change ringer sound and LCD display pattern. Press "END" to leave the testing mode

TO TEST THE HARDWARE There is a basic testing program that allow you to test different part of the circuit without linking with the handset unit.To enter the hardware testing program you have to key in the following sequence: Press: FCN+9+1+6+1+FCN+#+*+2+0+SND
